Straight Bible Poster – Privacy Policy

Straight Bible Poster ("the app") is an internal tool run by Straight Bible (Matt Hepner) at straightbible.org. It is used only to post Straight Bible's own podcast clips to Straight Bible's own TikTok account (@straightbible_). It is not offered to the public.
What the app accesses
When we sign in with TikTok (Login Kit), the app receives only:
- Basic profile info of our own TikTok account (open ID, display name, avatar) to confirm the correct account is connected.
- Permission to upload and publish videos (video.upload, video.publish) so we can post our own clips.
The app does not read followers, messages, comments, likes, or any other TikTok user's data.
How data is stored
TikTok access and refresh tokens are stored securely on our own systems, with access limited to Straight Bible. They are used only to post our videos and are deleted if we disconnect the app. Video files we upload are our own content.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any data. Data is sent only to TikTok, as needed to post videos, under TikTok's own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can revoke the app's access at any time in TikTok under Settings > Security > Manage app permissions.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
