Lucifer, The First Radical Activist is still alive and well and busy in America.
Naming the fallen angel, Lucifer, the first radical activist is not my idea, but taken from the words of Saul Alinsky, the genius community organizer whose methods many politicians credit with their success to get elected and stay in office. Mr. Alinsky said in the personal acknowledgements of his book, Rules For Radicals:
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history …, the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom—Lucifer."
—SAUL ALINSKY (reproduced from my own PDF copy)
One famous politician publicly acknowledged his debt to Saul Alinsky and his methods of community organizing, in a 2007 speech referring to his community organizing work in South Chicago: "It was that education that was seared into my brain. It was the best education I ever had, better than anything I got at Harvard Law School." – Mr. Obama, President of the United States 2008 – 2016.
However, to Christians, Lucifer is not a figure to admire and emulate like Alinsky and some radical politicians do, but a personage to abhor along with his minions, the evil spirit kingdom. Indeed, the first radical was responsible for man's fall into his sinful state.
How did Lucifer turn Adam and Eve against God? Saul Alinsky spends over 200 pages explaining the process of molding a society but the Bible tells the story in a very short form — in only seven verses: Genesis 3:1-7. Lucifer exploits the weakness of his target victim by attacking Eve's faulty education in rules for Garden of Eden living. Lucifer challenged Eve with, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?”
Eve's response revealed her faulty education, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’”
Eve's education was challenged by Lucifer misrepresenting the facts, by misquoting, by omitting "freely eat". Eve responded by repeating the misquote and twisting in her own opinion, "… neither shall you touch it". Eve has failed the exam on Rules for Living in the Garden of Eden. The Creator had not withheld the knowledge that an alternative to His rules for Eden living existed (Genesis 2:9). He just forbid Adam and Eve from studying and participating in an alternative rule set (Genesis 2:17).
Eve's weakness makes her vulnerable. She failed the exam on the rules for Eden living. She is not only ignorant of the alternative to the Creator's Rules for Eden living, she also has not taken her lessons seriously and "freely ate" of the Creator's Rules. Eve dropped out of school, not even earning her GED in the Creator's Rules. Her lack of education is the weakness Lucifer exploits to contradict the truth. Now Lucifer can insert his own propaganda: “You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Now he has Eve (and Adam too) hooked. God has apparently not dealt with them fairly, they have been victimized by the Creator. The Creator is now the oppressor! He has withheld useful knowledge: What is Evil and How it Works.
The story in Genesis goes on to say, the woman and the man partook of the forbidden fruit. And what would that be from the context? Both of God's first humans were taught by Lucifer about evil and how it works, which the Creator had "unfairly" withheld from them (sorry, no apple). After that, they were suspicious of God and reluctant to communicate with the "evil entity". However, God's response was not forgiveness nor immunity but deportation.
Evil's Method: First, you introduce doubt about your opponent by accusing him of evil (God or your country or a class of society) and/or of being unfair, by withholding something from you. Then evil preys on that doubt, and accuses the opponent of outright sinister evil — to build up animosity against the oppressor. Once that is accomplished, propaganda can be introduced and accepted as an alternate for the victim's original belief system.
In a nutshell, that's how Adam and Eve fell from grace and how evil is promoted today. It starts with faulty education in first principles on the part of the target victim. It is the same whether it be a false understanding of who Jesus is or ignorance of the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. Ignorance makes people vulnerable to the attacks of evil. If accusations are not fact checked and errors confronted, the victim is helpless and falls prey to alternative negative agenda.
As it was in the Garden of Eden, so it is in society today. All people are target victims of evil, politicians and organizers using evil methods. The primary defense is to know the founding principles of godliness and hold to them. The second defense is fact checking, if your primary education is weak. Failing to do either will result is succumbing to the lies of Lucifer against Christ and godliness … or succumbing to the lies of radical politicians.

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world.
Stay vigilant my brothers!
